A motorist fell asleep at the wheel and veered onto the wrong side of the road, crashing into another car, after driving 300 miles and climbing Snowdon to watch the sun rise.
Anthony Churchill had barely slept for 24 hours when dashcam footage showed him drift onto the wrong side of the A5 between Corwen and Llangollen and a collision with a Mercedes CLS car at 8.10am on June 17.
Appearing at Mold Crown Court on Friday, the 29-year-old was handed a 14-month jail term, suspended for 18 months.
