Dreamsweeper is a Dungeon Crawler x Minesweeper Roguelike and a lo-fi musical experience like no other game before.
A game where you navigate through worlds by solving Minesweeper rooms and fight your anxieties with the power of lo-fi music.
This is the story of a girl who goes to sleep listening to music every night, which helps her face her nightmarish anxieties.
Mero is a shy teenage girl who fell in love with music when she was very little and it became her source of happiness and comfort. Every night, whenever she goes to bed, she puts on her headphones and turns the music up to fight against her anxieties and intrusive thoughts which haunt her even in her dreams.
Mero [愛音] is a shy 13-year-old teenage girl. She visited her grandparents in the countryside every summer when she was young until they moved into the City. She fell in love with music on one of her childhood trips and ever since then music has been a source of comfort in her life.
Chappy is an energetic and happy old man who runs the Shop in the Dream World. He represents Mero’s memory of the real world Chappy, the owner of the Candy Shop in the countryside she used to visit. Chappy was the one who introduced Mero to music.
Shadow Mero is the inner voice of Mero that brings her down and desires to return to the days when she was still an anxious little girl. Just like every other Shadow enemy, it is the representation of insecurity and anxiety that lives inside every person.
