Thousands participate in annual Mother’s Day run to raise money for cancer research

Tens of thousands of people took to the streets to mark Mother’s Day, running or walking to raise money for breast and ovarian cancer research. The annual event saw people don their best pink outfits and head out into the sunshine in a show of support.
