Two crisp biscuits sandwiched together with chocolate cream... for decades that's been the recipe for Germany's most popular cookie,the Prinzenrolle. With some 30 million packets sold each year,it's Griesson–de Beukelaer's most successful product.The 115 year-old family business is based at Polch,near Koblenz and currently has 1800 employees. In 2007,turnover rose by 4.3 percent to 419 million euros. Joachim Eggers visited partners Heinz and Peter Gries to find out more about their recipe for success.
