A very rare Krypton Factor Clip from 1995 that I received through an e-mail recently. The Super Round from the 1995 Krypton Factor Grand Final. This was a new round added to the 1995 series, the last in it's original run. Contestants scored points in the previous five rounds during the show to allow them more advantages during the round . After going down a zipline, The first part of the round was the "Kryptic Rings" which was a maze in which contestants had to work out an exit route based on a combination of letters, numbers and colours which they had to find in the maze. Each contestants' combination was shown to them on a TV screen at the start and they had to memorize these in order to find their way out. The second part involved solving a code using a computer, in which they had to copy the word shown but a number on the keyboard represented different letters which contestants had to work out. The next part involved contestants having to go through a path of lasers, with a time penalty for touching a laser, then the next part was known as "Response Revolve" in which contestants had to get through a revolving path while collecting coloured batons based on their own colour, but they could only collect the batons when they light up. The last part of the round was a race up "Mount Krypton" in which contestants had to build a ladder and climb up the mountain structure itself once the ladder connecting to it is built, and the first to collect their Krypton K at the top, won the round and the show. Advantages for the round that could be gained by contestants included a guiding arrow for the maze, a word already done in the code, and parts of the ladder already built in the Mount Krypton section.
