Lady Gaga & Beyonce's music video is big hit

Just weeks after the storm over music videos being a bad influence on young girls, Lady Gaga and Beyonce have released their raunchiest video yet.

The music video for Telephone is causing an internet buzz worldwide with over 15 million hits in just a few days and that figure is clearly set to rise.

The video is an epic, lasting nine minutes. It starts with Gaga in jail, sporting her signature outrageous fashions and even refers to a rumour that she is a hermaphrodite.

The big budget, quick-paced colourful production was written by Gaga and director Jonas Akerland.

Inspiration for the video came from Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill and sees the pair go on a killing spree.

Some criticism has emerged over the use of blatant product placements and for being too explicit - at one point Gaga is shown wearing only police tape to hide her modesty.

There is also a hint of a possible sequel leading to rumours Gaga and Beyonce may collaborate again.
