Konnie Huq and Charlie Brooker get engaged

After dating in secret for the past nine months, Konnie Huq and Charlie Brooker are now engaged.
According to reports the ex-Blue Peter presenter and TV critic were thinking of getting married in Las Vegas this week, but decided to postpone their big day due to the announcement that Konnie is to be the new host of the Xtra Factor.
Their ceremony may have also clashed with auditions for the new series of X Factor which begin this week.
It is thought the two got together after Konnie appeared on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe show last year.
Previously, 34-year-old Konnie's most high-profile relationship was with her former Blue Peter co-presenter Richard Bacon. They broke up in 2006 after six years together.
