Fast food rage in the US

A woman's love for chicken nuggets has landed in her in an Ohio jail.

Surveillance video released by police shows Melodi Dushane throwing a massive tantrum after being told by employees at the Toledo fast food outlet that she could not have chicken nuggets as the item was not being served yet.

The incident happened on New Year's Day 2010. The surveillance video shows Dushane arriving at the drive-thru window of the restaurant at 06:00 local time.

She orders chicken nuggets but is told the restaurant is only serving items from the breakfast menu at that time of day.

Clearly upset by the news, Dushane argues with the restaurant employee before getting out of her car and trying to climb through the window.

She ends up punching the employee who has to grab Dushane's hair to get her to stop. In the end, it takes three restaurant workers to close the drive-thru window but even that didn't stop the irrate customer.

The video shows Dushane hitting the window repeatedly with her elbow before getting an object from her car and throwing it at the window, smashing it to pieces before driving off.

Local media reported that the 25-year-old was sentenced to 60 days behind bars and three years probation last month. She also was ordered to pay McDonalds more than 15-hundred US dollars for the damages.
