For the Fan Preferred Couple shipping.
Everything in black and white, would be flashbacks/memories, most of them from the Sonic Adventure 2/Shadow's Promise on ARK timeline. Everything in color, would be the present.
I suppose the whole theme is blackie here trying to sort out his feelings after having reflected on what happened on ARK once his memory of it returned, as the song itself goes--and shunning Amy when he does finally "meet her again" for the first and second time in the video (the first time was when Sonic and Knuckles were there, speculating Shadow's reactions to her). As for Shadow's audio in one clip---he's making his "ARK promise to her," thus why the next clip shows his super form XD; "Whatever it takes."
