Stephen Gately's ashes to be scattered

Stephen Gately's ashes will be scattered on the first anniversary of his death.
On October 10 last year, the Boyzone star died aged 33 from an undiagnosed heart condition whilst in his Majorcan villa.
His ashes will be scattered in a secret ceremony in Ireland on that date at a location that was "one of his favourite places," according to his bandmate Keith Duffy.
Coronation Street star Keith is believed to be the only Boyzone member able to attend the ceremony as Ronan, Mikey and Shane will all be in Australia at the time.
Apparently Keith may be flying down under to join his bandmates so they can remember their friend together.
There are also rumours Boyzone are planning a week of tributes to Stephen which they hope will include an appearance as special guests on the Australian version of X Factor.
