Start Redsn0w 0.9.7b1 & browse & select iOS 4.2.1 ipsw firmware file 5. Let Redsn0w 0.9.7b1 complete firmware verification process 6. Now click on next and let Redsn0w 0.9.7b1 prepare for jailbreak data 7. On Redsn0w 0.9.7b options page you must select "Jailbreak Monte (untether)" & it will ask you for iOS 4.2 beta 3 firmware file, browse and select appropriate iOS 4.2 beta 3 ipsw & click on next. 8. At this stage you need to switch of your device and connected to Mac 9. Click on next and follow the onscreen instructions to put iPhone in DFU mode and let it complete the rest of the process.
