I was glad, seeing this movie.
It is because it considered when the Western film director succeeded Hayao Miyazaki's "Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind" and the theme of "Princess Mononoke."
In the 80s, I had despaired of politics, religion, and the thought till then.
Miyazaki's now deer was able to be seen and it was able to have hope for a while.
I think that the revolution to animism will satisfy man's first way of life and physiology.
It is glad that the film director of Western Europe of monotheism sympathized with it.
-Japanese-この映画を観て、僕は嬉しかった。宮崎駿(Miyazaki, Hayao)の「風の谷のナウシカ(Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind )」や「もののけ姫(Princess Mononoke)」のテーマを西欧の監督が引き継いだと、思ったからだ。80年代、僕はそれまでの政治・宗教・思想に絶望していた。宮崎のナウシカを観て、少し希望を持つことが出来た。アニミズムへの回帰は、人間の原初の生き方や生理を満足させるのではないかと思う。
一神教の西欧の監督が、それに共感してくれたことが、嬉しい。
