Day 3 of the Hang Loose Pro Contest at Fernando de Noronha

Before the end of the day, the infamous Cacimba do Padre was already producing some 6 footers, mostly spiting left hand barrels. Despite the wave’s best conditions to be at high tide, Renato Galvao set the contest’s highlight on the lower tide. He debuted in the second heat of the day and surfed the best barrel on the rights of Cacimba do Padre. The judges gave him a 9.5 score, the best of the week at the 2011 Hang Loose Pro Contest.
