The Sixense Razer Hydra - PC Gaming's Answer to the Wiimote

Everyone knows that a standard mouse and keyboard work just fine for PC gaming, but what about when you want to feel more immersed in the experience?

Sixense hopes to satisfy that wish with the Hydra Razer controller. Danny Woodall, Lead Game Designer on Sixense's Portal 2 team, explains the controller's motion control capabilities to GameZombie's David Klein. Aside from focusing on an experience built specifically for Portal 2, gamers will be able to map any of their Steam games to the controllers buttons or recognized motions, allowing the users to tweak or create the setup that works best for them.

Pre-orders for Razer Hydra and Portal 2 bundles begin in May, selling for $140 at www.razerzone.com. The bundle also includes the Sixense MotionPack DLC, featuring levels that were created specifically with the Razer Hydra in mind. The peripheral is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and 7.
