Acting together for universal access to safe medecines

Millions of people living in African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries still do not have access to basic medicines. The European Commission has joined forces with the World Health Organisation and governments from the ACP states to support these countries in strengthening their health systems and improving people's access to safe medicines. This video focuses on the EU's contribution to the fight against counterfeit drugs and ensuring that people in ACP countries are able to access essential medicines of a good quality.
