European markets fall for 13th consecutive day

After a cautious start on Tuesday shares have again been tumbling on the European stock exchanges. By mid-morning London was down just over 5 per cent, Frankfurt over 6 per cent, Madrid down 3.4 and Paris just over 3 per cent. The sell-off revolved not just around European debt but also fears of a second recession in in the USA which in turn would hit Asian markets. ... http://www.euronews.net/
