I'd like to point out a few features of the Otterbox Defender case that are exceptional. First and foremost is the maximum protection it provides for the Playbook. In addition to the protection it provides,and not presented in any particular order, are other features:
* A screen protector-the included protector doesn't affect the clarity of the video; nor does it affect the touch. The gestures work as they did without the screen protection.
* All the control buttons on the top and the inputs on the bottom of the Playbook are protected with a thin rubber-like material. The controls on top are easily pressed and the inputs on the bottom are easily accessed by folding out the covering piece.
*The cover which doubles as a stand for the Playbook.
*A slide open part of the cover allowing the camera to function with the lens unobstructed.
