McGraw-Hill Research Foundation Report Calls for Sustainability Integration; FIFA Fights AIDS in Africa Football for Hope Centres - CSR Minute for December 6, 2011

A new policy paper from the McGraw-Hill Research Foundation says that sustainability education should be expanded and more fully integrated into existing curriculums to meet long-term sustainability goals. The study, “A Transdisciplinary Approach to Sustainability Education,” outlines a comprehensive approach to sustainability in order to effectively advance knowledge and skills. The report also reviews current innovative programs, such as those at the Center for Sustainable Education, a joint academic venture, and at Washington State University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and others.

After its 2010 World Cup South Africa campaign to fight AIDS, FIFA, the International Federation Football Association, is continuing its efforts with its “Football for Hope” program.
