Aston Martin History - 1953 Aston Martin DB 3 & DB 3S

The same coach, as we can see from the images, was utilized at the Thousand Miles in 1953, together with the older DB2. But during the same year the engine was developed to 2,9 litres and the camshafts were lifted up to gain 182 horse-powers, as to bring to life a new model, an evolution respect to the former, denominated DB3S. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aston Martin History - 1953 Aston Martin DB 3 & DB 3S - La stessa vettura, come stiamo vedendo nelle immagini, fu utilizzata alla mille miglia del 1953, assieme alla più anziana DB 2. Ma durante lo stesso anno, il motore venne aumentato a 2,9 litri e fu rialzato il profilo delle camme per arrivare ad ottenere 182 cavalli, dando vita ad un nuovo modello, evoluzione del precedente, denominato DB3S.
