3 Tips for Your Winter Barefoot Horse
http://www.actionridertack.com/ - For those of you that have Barefoot horses this winter, there are 3 tips that we would like to share with you about keeping your Barefoot horse healthy.
1) Don't let your horse stand around in mud. This causes the development of thrush.
2) Put down pea gravel in the paddock, eating area and water tank. Conforms to the underside of the hoof, massaging and protecting the frog.
3) Keep your horse's trim on schedule and have protection on hand (we recommend Easycare Easyboot Hoof Boots with Studs) in case you decide that you want to ride!

These 3 easy tips will help keep your barefoot horse healthy and safe throughout the winter.
