Ten voters in Corporate Register’s CR Reporting Awards competition will each win prizes of 250 pounds, about $380, in a random draw. Voters must cast ballots online for corporate responsibility reports across nine different categories. Voters will also build credit in a personal account for greater access to the information published by Corporate Register. The deadline to participate is January 27th.

York University has ranked first among Canadian universities and 14th in the world in a global campus sustainability survey. The U.I. GreenMetric Ranking of World Universities rated 178 schools in 42 countries on energy consumption, commuting practices, waste and water management, percentage of campus green space, and eco-sustainability policies and practices. York was cited for the design and construction of seven new campus buildings to green standards and the retrofitting of energy supply in older buildings, resulting in a 20 percent reduction in energy usage.
