CES 2012 Interview: Virtual Reality Gaming with SmartGoggles

During the later half of December 2011, I published a post speaking on the future of gaming and how a company by the name of Sensics is looking to take role in the future of gaming with the development of their latest project, SmartGoggles. Said to “power new types of gaming and entertainment goggles that are mobile and feature real-time, 360-degree tracking of the hands from the user’s perspective, adding intelligence, natural interaction, and true portability to goggle designs" the technology is certainly an eye-grabber and as promised in the post, I met up with Sensics at CES 2012 to receive a hands-on demol and conduct an interview.

The man quoted in the article published, Jason Kaplan, Vice President of Business Development for Sensics, is the representative I met with at Sensics' meeting room at CES 2012 and after having the opportunity to test out the SmartGoggles, I was left amazed. While those unable to attend CES have yet to experience this technology for themselves, Jason provides an overview of what this technology entails and I ask a few burning questions that were on my mind.
