CGRundertow CROSS EDGE for PlayStation 3 Video Game Review

Cross Edge Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Cross Edge, a license-filled hybrid tactical RPG developed by Idea Factory and published in 2008 by NIS America for PlayStation 3. What do you get when you throw together characters from Darkstalkers, Disgaea, Ar Tonelico, Atelier Marie, Mana Khemia, Spectral Souls, and a couple amnesiac kids? A huge pile of characters. That doesn't make a good game, though, it's just a jumbled pile of licenses. Cross Edge set out with the ambitious goal of melding all of these into one solid narrative with deep item customization and hybrid tactical combat; that said, it failed rather ingloriously. Oh well.
