Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer from Tecmo Koei for the PlayStation 3. Champion Jockey is a horse racing game with a shockingly complex setup. You tap a button in the rhythm of the horse's pace to drive the horse, all while trying to keep this gauge green. And you have to alternate that button with another button to whip—whatever, you'll literally spend hours trying to figure out what you're supposed to do in these races. And that was on the supposedly easy setting. You'll also spend a lot of time managing the stable, negotiating races and working on your horses' statistics. This is like the career mode in a Madden game with three times as much detail and three times less actual sport.
