There isn't much to say about this first part of the playthrough. I try to kill all enemies for rupees on each screen so I can get the candle when I exit the 1st dungeon.

When I make it to the dungeon I kill all enemies collecting the compass, map and bow easily. A mistake I made later was activating a trap and happening to wait for it to get back in position the first time before I can move on. Almost getting hit as well.

The boss is easy and I wasn't lucky enough to get bombs so I just used the sword to defeat him. Ending this first part with no bombs disappointed me as there was a lot of secrets I could get to early on if I had them.
