Otomedius Excellent review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Otomedius Excellent, a side-scrolling cute-'em-up developed and published in 2011 by Konami for the XBox 360. This is the kind of shoot-'em-up you play when you don't care about functioning in normal society. Any passerby would look at this game and think there's something wrong with you, and that you should stay away from their children. Which is unfortunate, because Otomedius Excellent is adorable. Take a girls' school full of color-coded combat pilots, make them ride their ships from the outside rather than inside, and get your Gradius on, just like the old days. Look on the bright side: It's still better than Strike Witches.
