Classic Game Room - GHOST PILOTS for Neo Geo CD review

Classic Game Room HD reviews GHOST PILOTS for Neo Geo CD. This 2D vertical scrolling SHMUP from SNK was originally released in 1991. This version is on the Neo-Geo CD and plays a lot like Fire Shark or Truxton on the Sega Genesis. This CGR review of Ghost Pilots has gameplay from one of the most understated SHMUPS on the SNK NeoGeo CD where fly a WWII era airplane against endless, mindless waves of enemies in some mission to blow something up (the story is in Japanes, can't read it...). Ghost Pilots is one of the more affordable shooters on the Neo Geo but remains one of the most fun, even if it looks like an older Genesis cartridge. The backgrounds are dull and enemies repetitive, but the action is fast, furious and addictive. Play one or two player games and have an awesome time wrecking the bad guys in Ghost Pilots for Neo Geo CD, a Japenese NeoGeo game reviewed here on Classic Game Room.
