Houston's death investigation closed, Gary Ross is out of "Hunger Games" sequel

There was no foul play in the death of Whitney Houston. The Beverly Hills Police Department has officially closed the investigation into the singer's February death, saying Houston died from an accidental drowning and that there had been no attempt to hide evidence of drugs in her room.

Director Gary Ross is backing out of "Catching Fire," the second installment in the "The Hunger Games" franchise. Ross blamed his decision on limited time to write and prep the film because of the tight production schedule. "Catching Fire" is scheduled for release in November 2013.

Robin Gibb was too ill to attend the London premiere of "The Titanic Requiem," his first classical work. The Bee Gees star was scheduled to perform a new song during the premiere concert. In a message read out to the audience, Gibb's son said his father was still in hospital. Gibb had intestinal surgery last month, and was hospitalized late last year for stomach and colon problems.

Nicki Minaj has scored her second number one album on the Billboard 200 as "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" debuted atop the list with 253,000 copies sold. Minaj's chart topper pushed last week's winner, Madonna's "MDNA," down to number two.

Finally, Betty White proves that at age 90, she's still technologically savvy. The actress joined Twitter on Tuesday (April 10) and already has amassed more than 106,000 followers.
