Xevious, by Namco, was one of the original SHMUP style shooter games and remains one of the best to this day. This fantastic disc for the Playstation contains the original Xevious as well as some cool new versions like Xevious 3D. The gameplay is intense and it's even more devious than before. Shmup fans across the world know Xevious for being extremely fun and brutally hard in the later levels. This cool new version remains true to the style and feel of the original and brings new weapons and graphical enhancements to the table. Xevious 3D/G+ is an awesome addition to your vertical top down shooter collection and should be immediately purchased for your PS1 gaming system. Classic Game Room was founded in 1999 and remains kicking today. This review was recorded in 2000 and featured the original lineup of Mark and Dave. The new series is called CGRHD, or Classic Game Room HD. Sucka! Blow away some Xevions and make those bitches pay for their crimes against humanity.
