CGRundertow PUSHMO for Nintendo 3DS Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
Pushmo review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Pushmo, a downloadable game from Intelligent Systems and Nintendo on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS. Pushmo is a brilliant puzzle game, but rather than a sequel to an established franchise, this is a brand new IP. From Nintendo. On the 3DS. Business just picked up. You play as a chubby little guy named Mallo, basically a plump mixture of Mario's Shy Guy and Kirby's Waddle Dee. Unlike his apparent Nintendo relatives, Mallo is a hero, not to mention one with a sharp acumen for puzzles. It's Mallo's job to rescue the children that have trapped within the Pushmo, these colorful stacks of blocks scattered across Mallo's world. They're stranded on top, so all you have to do is climb the blocks. It sounds simple, but of course, what makes this game so great is how you do this. This video review features video gameplay footage of Pushmo for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
