Virtua Fighter 2 Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Virtua Fighter 2, developed and published by Sega for the Genesis. When the 3D polygonal technology craze was just breaking into the video game industry, legendary game producer Yu Suzuki wanted to capitalize upon it. He created the Virtua Fighter Series, whose sequel Virtua Fighter 2 made its way onto the Genesis in 1997 in a 2D, crushed-down version of the 3D polygonal fighter.
