And while the games look a lot better, they do show their age. After you struggle with the camera, the controls and the unreasonably cryptic objectives, your nostalgia buzz immediately gives way to retro frustrations. But the good news is these games are still terrifying. In fact, very few horror games have been able to recreate the sheer terror and deep emotional impact the Silent Hill games so effortlessly muster.
