The High Speed ring is a favorite of mine on GT5 and GT2 for tuning really fast cars. It can be an extremely challenging course when racing against other humans because complete memorization of the corners and your car's performance on the road is necessary for the best times. The early GT1 High Speed Ring is jaggy compared to the newer versions in GT5 and Gran Turismo PSP, but it remains a Gran Turismo classic and a track that millions of people have driven on.
