Anyway, there's this really awesome vertical-scrolling shmup in your local arcade, gobbling up quarters left and right as players shoot their way through a moderately anachronistic Pacific Theater during World War II. Just 24 years later, Backbone musters their spinal fortitude to produce an HD reimagining of the Capcom classic, with more power-ups, more action, and more absurdly huge aircraft.
