CGRundertow GREEN LANTERN: RISE OF THE MANHUNTERS for PlayStation 3 Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters from Double Helix and Warner Bros. Interactive for the PlayStation 3. Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is also available for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS and Xbox 360. You play as a model of Ryan Reynolds with a generic haircut. This is a beat 'em up similar to the countless other movie games that are also beat 'em ups. And uh, and also something called God of War. Strange enough, the game also adds on rails flight missions, kind of like a Sin and Punishment: Kindergarten Edition. This game has everything you'd expect. Button mashing combat, collectible orbs, cooperative multiplayer, situational quick-time events and lots of unabashed Kratos praise. And of course, it's also lacking everything you'd expect, including inspired gameplay, fun design or any conceivable reason to purchase it.
