Predictable and satisfying brick breaking style gameplay with some clever design make Hyperballoid HD a game worth looking at for fans of the genre looking for an affordable download from Playstation Network. Hyperballoid HD for PS3 gameplay is fast and exciting for about the first 30% of each level until those last few bricks need to be broken, then the game slows down to a crawl and becomes a bit of a chore. Complete with trophies and some thumpin' awesome tunes, Hyperballoid HD is a nice Arkanoid style game with machine guns and flamethrower power ups, but it needs nukes.
