Syrian troops tear gas protesters in Aleppo

Amateur video out of Syria shows demonstrators back on the streets on Aleppo.

The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters comes as rights groups say that 15 members of Syria's security forces were killed in an ambush Wednesday.

After what appears to be tear gas is fired demonstrators run through the streets.

The United Nations says more than 9,000 people have been killed in Syria since the uprising began last March. The government blames the violence on foreign backed insurgents and says more than 2,600 members of its security forces have been killed.

The United Nations accused both the Syrian government and rebels of breaching a U.N.-brokered truce and said it had credible reports that at least 34 children had been killed since the ceasefire accord took effect on April 12.
