War veterans make up almost a quarter of the homeless population in the United States.

The US Department of Veteran Affairs estimates that about 30,000 of those are veterans from the Iraq War.

Al Jazeera's Sebastian Walker reports there is growing concern that they are facing a more serious post traumatic stress disorder symptoms than those who served in the Vietnam War.
