Classic Game Room - SPACE JOCKEY for Atari 2600 review
  • 12 years ago
Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of SPACE JOCKEY for the Atari 2600 video computer system VCS. Space Jockey is an arcade style old school shmup in a horizontal style. This horizontally designed shoot em' up is a lot of fun where you fly your alien saucer against the armed forces which consist of fighter planes, prop planes, helicopters and hot air balloons. This was released in 1982 and is a relatively rare and obscure game today. Do you like Gradius V 5, Raiden 3 III, Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun, Thunder Force 2, 3 and 4 on the Genesis, Life Force and Vanguard? Then you'll enjoy this. The instructions say: "You are a Space Jockey at the controls of a highly maneuverable Attack Saucer!" Yeah! UFO Flying Saucer sightings and attack raids on remote villages across Texas! Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. The HD series is reviewing 30 years of video games with PS3, Genesis, NES, Atari and Xbox 360.
