Violence in Iraq has increased since Mrach elections and al-Qaeda recently announced that they will launch a new series of attacks against security forces and and Shias. Mosques have also been attacked leading to Muqtada al-Sada, the Shia cleric who leads the Mhadi Arny malitia, offering "hundreds of believers" to support security forces. So far the government has rejected the offer. Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Baghdad (15 May, 2010).
