Classic Game Room - REVENGE OF SHINOBI Genesis review Pt2
  • 12 years ago
Part 2 of 2. Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of THE REVENGE OF SHINOBI for the Sega Genesis 16-bit video game system. The Sega Genesis game console (aka the Mega Drive Megadrive) is CHRHD's favorite gaming system, and it's no surprise that Revenge of Shinobi is one of our favorite games. This two parters looks at this amazing side scrolling action game and what sets it apart from the rest. What we need is more 2d two dimentional side scrollers on game systems like the Playstation 3 PS3 and Xbox 360 and Wii. Although some platformers and 2 D side scrollers have hit Xbox Live Arcade XBLA we want brand new ones that combine old school action with martial arts mayhem, great stories, fun gameplay and characters. In this video we talk about the different software versions and revisions of Shinobi, version 1.00, 1.01 and 1.02. This game is famous for its end bosses (end boss levels) with Spider Man, Batman and Godzilla. Spiderman was kept in all three versions, but Bat Man was removed in 1.01, and later Godzilla was also removed from version 1.02.
