Taliban retain control in parts of Swat valley - 15 May 09

Thousands of residents have been fleeing Mingora, a city in Pakistan's Swat valley controlled by the Taliban, after the government lifted a curfew.

They, and the hundreds of thousands of other people displaced, have left behind buildings destroyed by the heavy fighting.
