Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Stormrise from Creative Assembly and SEGA for the PlayStation 3. In Stormrise, humans have developed a technology that allows them to manipulate the weather. But as you might expect from such a destructive species, something goes terribly wrong. This is the post-apocalyptic world in which Commander Aiden Geary finds himself, a planet where the surface is burning and the survivors are at war. Like its story, Stormrise's gameplay is also built from some interesting ideas. Unlike some traditional RTS games, this one isn't about protecting a point on the screen. Stormrise is more about multitasking, moving several small groups of soldiers from point to point in a sort of bullet-filled chess match.
