Pakistan's refugees have started returning home in the main Swat town of Mingora following a military offensive waged against Taliban fighters.

But weeks of house to house fighting and aerial bombardment have taken a heavy toll on the once bustling region.

Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder reports on how many returning home are discovering that their lives are still in shambles.
