Chapter One picks up with Guybrush on the verge of completing a heroic rescue of his wife Elaine. She's been kidnapped by the sleaziest sleaze of the seven seas, the buccaneer named LeChuck. It's going to take some voodoo root beer to get the job done, and fortunately, Guybrush has come prepared. Sharp writing is a big part of what makes Tales of Monkey Island such a fantastic game. It's hard not to smile while you're playing it.
