Shaq Fu is also available for the Super NES (SNES), Game Boy and Game Gear. Released in 1994 at the height of NBA star Shaquille O'Neal's backboard-breaking popularity, Shaq Fu operates on many subtle levels. Its title is a reference to O'Neal's habit of putting his nickname into random nouns, verbs and sometimes adjectives, its gameplay is a soulless version of the then popular 2D fighter formula. Widely considered one of the all-time worst video games, Shaq Fu is objectively rancid.
