CGRundertow CROSSFIRE for Sega Genesis Video Game Review
  • 12 years ago
CrossFire review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of CrossFire from A.I. Company and Kyugo Trading Co. for the SEGA Genesis. CrossFire was known as Super Airwolf overseas, but regardless of the name, it's a solid hybrid shooter with some interesting ideas. Most levels start with a stretch of vintage vertically scrolling gameplay, only afterward, you're swooping in close. After that, you're on foot and moving through the same stage your plane just bombed. The more enemies you're able to destroy with your plane, the easier it'll be for your foot soldier. CrossFire is certainly a diverse game, which sets it apart from other 16 bit shooters. This video review features video gameplay footage of CrossFire for the SEGA Genesis and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
