Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Moon Diver, a downloadable game from feelplus and Square Enix available on the PlayStation Network. Moon Diver is also available on the Xbox Live Arcade. Moon Diver is called "Strider for the 21st century" by the team behind it, a fitting description of Moon Diver. This is an old-school 2D action game...in fact, it's a very old-school 2D action game. Combat is simple, arcade-like and satisfying. But at the same time, there's an inherent degree of shallowness to what you can do. That said, the gameplay is enjoyable enough that it doesn't bother you...again, especially if you're an old-schooler.
