Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals from Zipper Interactive and Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. SOCOM 4 is a tactical third-person shooter that puts you in command of a five-man team of special military operatives trained to ensure their first strike is deadly. There is a story, but only in the sense that the characters and places have names. SOCOM 4 isn't much of a storyteller, opting instead to use the "a handful of American badasses can take on the world" approach.
