Some tense moments for the driver of this dump truck this afternoon just after 1 PM when he looked in his mirror and seen flames shooting out of the box of the truck 3 feet high. He stopped and a man in a truck behind him called 911. Moncton Fire Department responded to the call , first going out Berrys Mills Road stopping at one dump truck , then went east on the Trans Canada Highway almost to Magnetic Hill turned around and went west all the way to Salisbury Big Stop, turned around and started looking for the fire going in the East bound lane towards Moncton. The Dump truck fire was on the Berrys Mills Road just as your about to enter the Homestead Road (Old TCH) . 2 District 11 RCMP arrived on scene. The Firefighters were almost out of water and a tanker truck was needed but by the time it arrived they had the fire out around 2:05 PM. Berrys Mills is just on the outskirts of Moncton.
